
Understanding Parts of the Female Reproductive System
Vagina– Extends from the cervix to the outer part of the genitals
Ovaries – Produce, store, and release eggs and also produce hormones
Fallopian tubes– Tubes that connect the ovaries to the uterus
Uterus– Supports a developing fetus
Cervix– Passage that allows sperm to enter and menstrual blood to exit the uterus
